Feathers is a handmade typeface that is comprised of ligatures, glyphs and alternates, so that it never loses its hand-drawn feel. It’s a semi-connected script, and draws influence from both Spencerian penmanship and more contemporary hand lettering, which sets it apart from its traditional roots.

A side project I did for fun to brush up (haha!) on my digital painting- I drew myself and my puppy Reilly as some of our favorite cartoon characters.

Time For Bed, Ted! was a collaborative project between myself and a former classmate- I did the illustrations while she wrote the story and designed the book. While the book is in the process of being published, the illustrations are completed and do a pretty nice job of telling the story, even without words!

This is the heart warming tale of my childhood friend Ben, and the playground debacle that involved a stolen hat, a high speed chase, and some serious payback.

This particular sketchbook, though old, is one of my favorites. This was before I had committed to the graphic design major (and discovered the magical things that are vectors) so I was working a lot more in watercolor and making much more organic sketches and characters. I particularly love the sketches I did here of horses. 

An iPad app that allows users to analyze movies by sound.

Butterfingers Magazine is a publication targeted toward people in their 20's who are might be inexperienced cooks, or just looking for easy inexpensive recipes. I wanted the whole magazine to have a fun feel, to appeal to people who might not ordinarily pick up a cooking magazine.

An iPhone and iPad app that work together to help people with food allergies to be safely served at restaurants.
